Some of our favourite restaurants in Madrid

Food will be taken very seriously at our wedding, so we want your time eating your way through the Spanish capital to be just as memorable. Peeling, dipping in soy sauce, and uncorking your birth year are all part of what you'll find among our recommendations.

For Special Ocassions

Ugo Chan

A Michelin-starred Japanese-Spanish fusion spot in Chamartin, famously hard to book, with creative, seasonal dishes and an intimate, open-kitchen vibe

Desde 1911

A proper seafood temple from the Pescaderias Coruñesas family, where the menu changes daily based on what’s just come in. The delicacies cart they bring out upon arrival is reminiscent of the Little Mermaid's cast

Filandón

Located away from the city, making it perfect for a long Sunday lunch on the cosy terrace

Saddle

A refined, contemporary restaurant in the heart of Madrid, known for elegant Spanish cuisine, impeccable service and old-school atmosphere

La Tasquita de Enfrente

If you are looking for Spanish food with the best ingredients, this is your place in el Centro

Other Signature Restaurants

Los 33

Great food and a lively atmosphere, especially for those who are single

Kappo

Kappo is a tiny, intimate Japanese restaurant with simple dishes made with incredible ingredients. Best enjoyed at the bar

Quenco

Classic, excellent value for money. Terrace seating

Sacha

Traditional Spanish cuisine, led by a masterful chef

Charrúa

Our go-to for amazing meat

Pescador

A “desde 1911” but à la carte (from the same owners). A classic we love for amazing seafood

Quintín

Easy, relaxed and great atmosphere for both lunch and dinner. Located in Jorge Juan, one of Madrid’s best restaurant streets

Tapas Spots and Local Favourites

La Catapa

A cosy, relaxed spot in the Ibiza neighbourhood (a great area for tapas) we love for great wine and easy sharing plates. We recommend going during the day

Arzabal

A Madrid classic, slightly more polished than a typical tapas bar (also located in the Ibiza neighbourhood)

Akiro

The best hand rolls in Madrid. They don't take reservations, so we recommend joining the waiting list and grabbing a drink at the Bless Hotel rooftop terrace while you wait your turn

Sala de Despiece

Located in Ponzano street, another great area for tapas. Very creative and fun cuisine

La Montería

More wintery food... we recommend going during the day (located in the Ibiza neighbourhood)
